I made this Breadman for my friend as a reminder of the amount of bread we ate travelling around Europe. As we were eating from supermarkets and buying cheap food this involved alot of heavy bread, by the end we thought we would turn into the stuff. We have recovered now.

Mug Making Mania!
Lately, I have been going mug making mad and I love it. These are a couple of my first ones that I have just finished! I am really enjoying making them and I am pleased with the way they have turned out. Although it is very difficult to know how the oxides and glazes will turn out, often the colours and shades aren't as you expect or hope, there are a lot of variables so I have been experimenting. I find the unpredictability exciting. Now that I have learnt mug making I want to make bowls, plates, maybe even a teaset!... You have been warned.

Patchwork Complete
I have finished it at last and it is all ready for me to take to university. I have been wishing it was a little cold so I could use it now! I am also happy as it is the beginning of Autumn, I love everything about it, the colours, the scenery, cosy clothes, wolly hats, cups of tea (Well always, but they are even better in Autumn/Winter)..:)
Today-the last of the packing, I have almost finished yet my room is still full, it looks like I haven't packed at all... moving back in over next summer will be fun!

Patchwork in progress
Over summer I decided to make a patchwork quilt to take with me to university, a summer project of sorts, I have loads of material bits and bobs so there are many different colours and patterns included, I am pleased with it so far :)

Other strange news, I now have the three aliens from Toy Story living in my room...

Exhibition
The final series of 66 Postcards made from all of the collected information in my journals, all about memory and language, why people are the way they are, what triggers memories, sayings, stories, photographs, drawings. I came across alot of handwritten postcards, letters and notes, with messages of celebration and stories. I really like this way of communication and hope it is kept up even with all of this technology! I really enjoyed this project it provided many comical stories and a chance to reminisce, these ideas and project could continue forever :)
